The event will feature spoken-word artists ages 18 and older and will begin with a Youth Spoken Word Contest for ages 10–17, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Local recording artist K. Jaye will provide the opening performance.

The Black Families Rising Podcast, hosted by Coach Grinder Spencer and Coach JasaLove, is coming to Uplift TV on October 17, 2026.
